Reviewers rave about the meticulous preparation and fresh ingredients that enhance every dish on the menu. The Basque cheesecake is a popular choice, though opinions vary on its temperature and creaminess. Patrons recommend sampling the crispy croquetas and the flavorful gambas al ajillo, both of which are celebrated for their texture and seasoning. This restaurant is easily one of the best I’ve tried this year. The Basque-style Spanish dishes are unique and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the chef’s dedication to perfecting every detail. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and each dish bursts with flavor. The gazpacho is refreshing with a nice hint of acidity, and the croquettes are perfectly crispy without being too salty or greasy. Both the steak and fish entrees were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and highlighting top-quality ingredients. Service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our order was taken and served in a very timely manner. The Basque cheesecake, while good, wasn’t the highlight for me. It was a bit too cold and lacked the creamy richness I prefer, but it was still a satisfying finish. Overall, this spot delivers fantastic food, great service, and an excellent dining experience. Highly recommend!

Great Basque flavors, solid experience overall Really enjoyed the pulpo, Spanish tortilla, and gambas — all well-prepared and flavorful. The Basque cake was just okay (7/10), but overall a good experience. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Wow , we only had 2 items on the menu , but both items were 10/10 . The food is prepared carefully and very tasty . The cheesecake is the best I have had in Miami hands down . The mushroom croquetas deliver amazing flavors . I’m definitely planning to go back there with friends and family .

Some really excellent Basque food here! I was blown away by the steak tartare (I forgot to take a video of it) and the lamb chops. The service is very good as well. It's very popular on the weekends - reserve ahead of time!

Edan is a solid spot with great food and friendly service. Both croquetas de jamon and mushroom were crisp, creamy, and flavorful. The gambas al ajillo were perfectly seasoned, and the ribeye was tender and delicious. Don’t skip the Basque cheesecake - light, smooth. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food! The Basque cheesecake is heavenly, whatever you order, leave some room for this desert, the texture and flavor, so good! Mushroom Croquettes were very good, great to share add a bite. Grilled grouper with sunshoke pure was delicious. Service is excellent. The place itself is cute and stylish and casual.

It might not be elegant but the food is exquisite. Our waiter was informed and very attentive and additional wait staff was very accommodating. One thing that sticks out in the menu is the mushroom croquettes which was a delicately fried masterpiece. But the show stopper here is the STEAK AND POTATO platter. Thin slices of steak that are tasty and juicy with the right amount of salt made us carnivores very happy, satisfied and sated. The potatoes are done differently than the ordinary French fry but you will be pleased with this starch concoction. If there is any complaints it’s that there is no salad offering but let’s face it we don’t need a salad with every meal. MOCA- the Museum of Contemporary Art had its jazz night and this was a magnificent prelude before the concert. If you need a new twist for date night EDAN AND MOCA are the perfect combination.

Tucked away in North Miami’s vibrant culinary scene, EDAN Bistro is a small, unassuming gem that offers a truly extraordinary dining experience. At its helm is Chef Aitor, a young, friendly talent from the Basque Country whose love for food shines through in every carefully crafted dish. After making waves with Leku at the Rubell Museum, Aitor has poured his heart into creating EDAN Bistro, a space where his creativity and passion come alive on every plate. The restaurant’s intimate size creates a personal and exclusive experience, where Aitor himself delivers his creations to your table with a warm smile and a genuine love for what he does. This hands-on approach makes you feel like a guest in his own kitchen rather than a diner at a restaurant. The food? A masterpiece. Each dish is presented on stunning handmade plates that perfectly complement the colors and textures of the food. We ordered the 7 course menu for lunch for 100 per person a great deal for the restaurant excellent food combination you get. When the food arrived, it was a feast for the eyes before the first bite. The vibrant colors, expertly arranged like a painting, set the stage for flavors that were bold, fresh, and utterly satisfying. Chef Aitor’s true talent lies in his ability to take traditional techniques and elevate them with creative, modern twists. From the gazpacho with strawberries to the showstopping Basque Cheesecake, each dish engages all the senses and feels like a reflection of his love for food. While EDAN Bistro is still a hidden gem, it won’t stay that way for long. The combination of Aitor’s talent, the restaurant’s intimate charm, and the unforgettable food make it clear that this place is destined for greatness. Once it’s mentioned in the Michelin Guide—and it undoubtedly will be—getting a table here will be a challenge. Until then, this is your chance to experience Chef Aitor’s vision up close, in an environment that feels like dining with an old friend who just happens to be a culinary genius. Miami is lucky to have him, and EDAN Bistro is the perfect reflection of his passion, skill, and creativity. Unable to describe all the flavors of each dish in detail, I will leave the pictures speak for themselves.
